Fresh Water Conservation

Brother Theophyle is standing at his toilet, passing water. He says to Rabbit, “Okay, I pass a few ounces of used water, and flush it away with a couple of gallons of used water. Does that make sense?”

Rabbit, who is walking out the door into the garden, replies, “I don't understand why you don't do it outside, like the rest of us.”

To the side are two field mice. One grumbles, “”What a species! The way they behave, you'd think fresh water fell out of the sky like rain!”

The other mouse reponds, “Actually, it does.”
