Dearest God and Most Precious Teacher,

Show me Your Self.
In my daily routine –
Among the dirty dishes, crying children, whining boss.
In the things I fear and dread –
Loneliness, disease, old age.
In the good moments –
A friend’s touch, a fragrant blossom, a bird’s song.

I know You’re there, in every one of them.
Behind the mask I have placed upon Your face.
That sweet Face!

My sweet Lord,
Show me Your Sweet Face.
